The [Indian] Arbitration & Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2019 Introduced in the Parliament

Readers may well be aware that the Arbitration & Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2018 which was introduced in the Lok Sabha and passed had lapsed. Yesterday (15 July 2019), the Government has introduced the Arbitration & Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2019 in the Rajya Sabha (here).

Although there are not many path-breaking changes, the Government seems to have heeded to some of the criticisms on the 2018 Bill.  For now, readers may have a look at the revisions made in the 2019 Bill from here. The revisions made in the 2019 Bill are marked in red. More on these revisions in another post.
